Deborah’s Place was founded by a committed volunteer group in Chicago in 1985. Now, nearly 40 years later, volunteers continue to be an integral part of our organization. We believe that everyone has something to offer to enrich the lives of the women of Deborah’s Place. A strong connection to our larger community is key to our mission–and by volunteering, you help to keep that bond strong.

There is a wide range of volunteer needs throughout our various Chicago programs, and we work with volunteers to find the right place for their special talents and interests at Deborah’s Place.

Visit our Volunteer FAQ to find out more about volunteer requirements, eligibility, and how you can support the mission of Deborah’s Place.
